Marigold and Mint is an organic farm, a retail shop and a studio. We grow two acres of flowers and edibles, as well as harvest responsibly from our orchard, woodland and berry patches. The farm is situated along the Snoqualmie River, about 30 miles east of Seattle. The shop is located in the Melrose Market on Capitol Hill in Seattle, Washington. We sell and deliver to florists, individuals and businesses, and, in the studio, make things such as marigold garlands and poppy mobiles.

Founded in 2008 by owner Katherine Anderson, Marigold and Mint reflects her lifetime love of flowers and landscapes. From an early age, she hung May Day baskets on her neighbors’ doors. As an adult, and inspired by places as disparate as Desolation Sound and the Bois de Boulogne — and by objects ranging from the scale of a spider’s web to that of a star — she wanted to start growing and making things. Trained as a landscape architect, she brings her affection for both clean and clear design and intricate patterns to Marigold and Mint.
